What We Do

Since the formation of the Junior League of Champlain Valley (JLCV) in 1985, our focus has evolved to address the most pressing needs of Champlain Valley and greater Vermont. Our current community goal of affordable living can be achieved through education, raising awareness, and supporting families with tangible results. Impact Recap

At the end of each League year, the Junior League of Champlain Valley provides highlights from the year. We are pleased to share the positive impacts made by JLCV for the 2025-2026 year!

Current Issue Focus Area: Affordable Living

JLCV strives to find ways to help make living in the state of Vermont more affordable. The JLCV identified Diaper Need as an impact area in 2017. To address Diaper Need, the JLCV established Vermont’s first Diaper Bank in 2018 and successfully ran the Diaper Bank until 2023.

As we look forward to 2026-2027, JLCV is expanding its partnership with Spectrum Youth & Family Services.

JLCV received recognition for its work in creating the Diaper Bank with a 2023 AJLI Community Impact Award
